The preparation of applications

The UGK Foundation does not develop a project on its own initiative, which is then implemented in one or more cooperatives. We receive applications from the individual organizations or are aware of existing needs and offer support if this is desired.

 

The three projects that we have submitted to STIFTUNG HAUS DER action 365 have been in existence for some time, but their continuation is endangered by the current problems of Fedecocagua and the generally tense financial situation in the country.

 

In March, Jurik Rockenbach visited the cooperatives La Todosanterita Hoja Blanca and Tajumuco, accompanied by one of Fedecocagua's technicians responsible for the cooperatives in question. After a warm welcome from the managers and the potential beneficiaries, the basis for the applications and basic photographic documentation were drawn up during interviews in the offices and on tours outside..

 

Since the three projects have been approved, you will gradually get to know the three cooperatives better to see where they are on the map, how many members they have, what their history looks like and, of course, how the projects are developing.
